Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops that I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as tangled wires.
You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a miniature map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another notable feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has several other clever features, including a dock that connects to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's one of many combination robot vacuums that have mopping capabilities that are priced lower than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes creating an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process may take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your room. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and required a flip to free itself. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. robot vacuum cleaner amazon Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can't.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust various settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place the debris into the self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for affordable prices. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers that are available. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision. The app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which can be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, then refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8, this robot does an excellent job of keeping my office clean and can also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your space which allows it to know which areas to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features, including self-emptying dustbins, the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it can't take care of knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also comes with a variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in smaller spaces. It's extremely quiet and speedy and does a great job of getting around tight spots. It also does a good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they won't be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secured and are not linked to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
